How Netflix Gets Its Movie Suggestions So Right

A nerdy intern, preferably played by Jaleel White. Make it happen, CW. Mario Lopez On "Franklin & Bash" We think Mario Lopez should take a break from hosting and return to his perfectly permed roots by reuniting with "Saved By The Bell" BFFrenemy Mark-Paul Gosselaar. The erstwhile A.C. Slater could turn up as a client for Gosselaar's Peter Bash, or continue that antagonistic streak by appearing as a law school rival with an ax to grind. Judith Light On "Mistresses" Remember the ladies of "Who's the Boss?" Alyssa Milano starred as a housekeeper's (Tony Danza) daughter and Judith Light was the matriarch of the family they lived with and are employed by -- Milano's new series "Mistresses" seems like the perfect opportunity to find a brand new TV reunion around the review bend. Light, who recurs on "Law & Order: SVU," could play a legendary famous mistress who helps Milano and the other newbies get through their experiences ... or, she could play the mother of one of the cheating men, who blames it all on his mistress.
Source: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/08/08/connie-britton-friday-night-lights-movie-script_n_3726440.html

‘Planes,’ movie review

Theres a deceptively simple trick to Lovelace, the atmospheric and harrowing biopic of Deep Throat star Linda Lovelace. And its based, appropriately enough, on moving from what seems like a happy fantasy to a scary reality. That switch could have sunk this film from directors and former documentarians Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman (The Celluloid Closet, The Battle of Amfar). But while Lovelace falters a bit, it remains a memorable, unflinching indictment. Dale Robinette Amanda Seyfried with Adam Brody, who plays Harry Reems, in Lovelace Linda Lovelace (Amanda Seyfried) [source] is first glimpsed in the (recreated) opening scene from Throat, as it came http://jerrodcekp.wordpressy.pl/?p=10 to be known. In a flashback, 21-year-old Linda her real last name is Boreman is living in Florida with her strict mother (unrecognizable Sharon Stone) and former New York cop dad (Robert Patrick).
Source: http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/tv-movies/lovelace-movie-review-article-1.1421382

displayComments:true! Movie review: The modestly funny Were the Millers Michael Tackett/AP - From left, Jennifer Aniston, Will Poulter, Emma Roberts and Jason Sudeikis star in We're the Millers. By Ann Hornaday , E-mail the writer Were the Millers, a raunchy, druggy, profanity-laced comedy starring Jason Sudeikis and Jennifer Aniston, is a dog-days movie, the kind of left-handed programmer that slips easily onto screens in August, makes a few bills and exits without much notice. Theres nothing special about it this is a movie made to exploit the hard-R successes of The Hangover and Bridesmaids but it would be dishonest to claim it isnt funny. The laughs may come in fits and starts, usually by way of sight gags and set pieces, but they do come. And then they go.
Source: http://www.washingtonpost.com/goingoutguide/movies/movie-review-the-modestly-funny-were-the-millers/2013/08/06/1770c5c8-fe93-11e2-96a8-d3b921c0924a_story.html

The ever-prodigious members at Reddit use the wisdom of crowds, meanwhile, to constantly vote up streaming movies that Kim Kardashian download you might otherwise miss. It's a super-active community with consistently high-quality recommendations: Check it out here. Don't Let A Film Disappear Another Netflix specialty website is InstantWatcher, a clean website that allows for easier movie search than you'll find on the Netflix homepage. And while many outlets toast InstantWatcher for its quick and robust search functionality, we like it because it also lists the notable films that will disappear from Netflix Instant soon. There's even a Twitter feed that does nothing but tweet out the names of soon-to-be-expired Netflix movies. There is no worse feeling, in the whole entire world, than sitting down to watch a movie you've had in your Netflix queue only to discover that the movie has disappeared.
Source: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/08/07/netflix-movie-suggestions_n_3720218.html

If Cars was first class, the semi-sequel Planes is definitely coach. A Disney release but not a Pixar production, it should be noted Planes is set in the same sort of world as the 2006 Cars and its 2011 followup. Vehicles are sentient and no humans exist (but there are still buildings and houses, for some reason). This movie was originally intended as a direct-to-video release, but when you can airlift this much money duty-free, why not book a theatrical reservation, too? Dane Cook is the voice of Dusty, a crop-duster with dreams of being a celebrated racing plane.
Source: http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/tv-movies/planes-movie-review-article-1.1420181
